This is Your Brain on Drugs

"I can stop whenever I want, I'm just doing it for fun..for now," "I don't have a problem," "Try it, it's not going to hurt you. It's natural," "I'll quit in 5 years."  These are common terms you would hear from someone who is abusing drugs.  Many substances could be considered drugs, like sugar, but I'm talking more about marijuana, cigarrettes, heroin, ecstacy, meth, cocaine and alcohol.  People who are using drugs say comments like the above because they are Addicted.  Addiction is a physical and psychological dependency on a substance, despite the negative consequences.  It is a loss of control. But my Brain Feels Good

Well; I was doing my usual rounds on the Internet and came across an article titled “This is Your Brain on Drugs“. First off, I have to say that it took so much power not to laugh at this article, because it tries to be so serious. Also, I’d like to say that I respect the author as it does contain correct information about other drugs such as meth. So, let’s dig into this article! (I will only be going against the stigma of marijuana).
