Where Do I Come From?

I came across my family name when reading about a tribe in Ethiopa

"In The Times Magazine from two weeks ago, I came across this picture of a warrior from the Hamer tribe, one of the more successful tribes making their home in the Omo Valley in Ethiopia"

While I'm not descended from these amazing people, it did make me wonder what other weird and wonderful familial connections other people had....
