What Has Blogging Taught You?
A few of the things I've learned while blogging:
•You can find friends in the most unlikely of places.
• Sometimes it takes documentation for me to recognize my blessings. And my growth.
• Not only can I learn new things in my 30s, but I can learn them well enough to teach others.
.....And several other interesting things I've picked up blogging. What has blogging taught you?

10 things learned from blogging
There are a number of things I learned from blogging, here are a couple:
There are stories to be told from the every day mundane. Writing about what the boys and I are going through has lead to me finding the story each day. It has made me more intentional.
I am not very good writer, but I am a good blogger.
There is a huge community where ever your interest lies. This was not exactly surprising but it has been great to connect with so many great dads online that are trying to be better parents and challenging each other to do the same.

Blogging Gives Me the Opportunity to Meet Wonderful People! What About You?
While roaming the internet I came across What Has Blogging Taught You? on the Better in Bulk blog. It got me thinking. I blog away week after week, thinking about topics that may be of interest to other parents. My goal has been to share what I know to help someone else with a child with special needs.
But this recent post made me stop and think about what I have gained from blogging. What have I learned? How have I benefited?
But I am so new to this. My first post, S-O-S is Live!, was published on April 19, 2010. I am two days shy of writing for only three months. There are those who have been at this for years. But in my short three months, I do believe I can answer this question, “What has blogging taught you?”
To sum it up, blogging has given me the incredible privilege of meeting some pretty amazing people. Others can scoff at those of us who spend huge amounts of time on the internet and “meet” others on the web, but I have met people I would never have known otherwise.

Blogging for a Living?
Two years I started writing a blog. It was part of my grade for a graphic design and writing class. The graphic design and writing class taught me two very important lessons:
1. I don’t want to be a designer.
2. I discovered a love for writing.
The class ended in May. After many months of focusing on the assignments for the graphic design and writing class, I fell head first in to the end-of-the-school year activities for all three children.
The new school year was a milestone for me. For 12 years, I had dreamed of the day when all 3 kids would be in full-day school. Blogging is now what I do.

Power In The Blog
I have learned that blogging is more than just copy, past and colorful photos. It's an opportunity to share not only your personality but your interest with the world.

What has blogging taught you?
With my three year Blogaversary coming up soon, I've been sitting and pondering the past three years blogging, how I started and where I am at, and most specially what I have learned.
When I started blogging I had no idea what I was doing. I have always been a writer, and most of you probably don't know I write romance books *sigh, ahhhhhh the days before bottles and babes and hubby with a brain injury.
Writing back then was a tad bit easier in all honesty. But I have learned a lot through blogging.
