What to do with the Haitians

With the devastation of Haiti 10 days ago following the massive quake, we are faced with the decision of what our long-term policy should be towards helping the victims.  It will take years for the nation to recover, meaning hundreds of thousands of Haitians will be suffering from the lack of basic necessities and any sense of normality. 

Do we bring them to the US like we have the orphans?  Do we establish a refugee camp at Guantanamo Bay as we did back in the 1990s?  Do we tell them to stay put, and we try to help them rebuild the island as quickly as possible?

These questions need to be answered by our nation before we start seeing make-shift boats floating towards Florida.
