What Are Your Thoughts About Teaching Today's Children To Cook?
Anthony Bourdain recently remarked in his new best seller, MEDIUM RAW, that children should, quite frankly, learn to cook and it should be more of a requirement rather than an option. What are your thoughts?

Thinking About Eat-ucation
Cooking in the classroom needs to happen. I have found a nmber of organizations and school districts that have embraced this ideal, but wonder why it hasn't gone any further than that.

Passing on Traditions
I am completely in support of teaching the next generation to cook. Both my brother and I were taught how to cook every dish that was put on the table. This not only has helped us support ourselves as adults, but we essentially have been given heirlooms.
