Turn an unused pool into a constant source of food for your family
Article about a family who turned an unused in ground pool into a greenhouse, fish farm, and chicken farm. This project now provides them with vegetables, herbs, fruit, eggs and fish to feed their family. The project is called the Garden Pool and uses solar power, hydroponics, aquaculture, biofiltration and poultry farming all combined into a self sustaining system.

From swimming pool to sustainability powerhouse
Journey from Copenhagen has just been accepted into a new social media network for bloggers called Seeded Buzz, which allows bloggers to easily share and cross-post articles among their respective blogs. I already found a cool sustainability article from the blogosphere, from a blog called Elemental Cheapness: Tips for living cheaply, not poorly, about a great use of the family swimming pool … once swimming is no longer the activity of choice in said pool.
