Shop Springtime at Bossy’s Feltworks
Bossy's Feltworks is the makings of three friends, mothers and islanders. They live and make felt things using the fleece from their own sheep on the Orcas Island right up off the northwestern corner of Washington state near Seattle. Many artists and musicians have made this little island their home. Amy, Mandy and Kari make unique toys and decors for children and adults. They also share the various tasks needed to run their creative collective between them: Amy Lum is a needle felter, shepherdess, bookkeeper and is in charge of packaging & shipping; Mandy Troxel is a needle felter, photographer, Photoshop geek and handles the web site & mailing list; whilst Kari Van Gelder is a needle felter, wool dyer, spreadsheet geek, and looks after the Etsy listing & convos. Impressive!

Felt-y cuteness!
Oh my goodness these are too cute. As a farmer anxiously awaiting the delights of Spring lambs and chicks this was a welcome distraction.
I just have to keep reminding myself that I have enough on my plate without trying to learn felting!
