Public Transportation drives me BANANAS!

Getting ‘cross-town’ in NYC via public transportation is straight up annoying. This is why most New Yorkers pick a side and generally stick to their respective ‘hood. The bus is your only option for cross-town travel above 42nd street.  The bus that waits at every light, the bus that stops every three blocks, the bus that attracts senior citizens and children like the plague (I use the word plague because I associate children with germs and general uncleanliness). Despite being painfully slow, if you can’t afford a taxi (or just hate paying for cabs, as I do), it’s your only hope for East-West travel, other than hoofin’ it.
