Phony Feminists and Super Bowl Commercials
A brief recap of the outrage by some calling themselves feminists over the pro-life testamony of Mrs. Tebow and her son. The commercial was so tame that it was easy to not even realize the message. So, the feminists made up another reason to complain.

How Focus on the Family played everyone.
The approximate $2.6 Million paid for a relatively inexpensive ad to film was a bargain for Focus on the Family. Talking heads on both sides of the issue created a controversy when there was none, yet pushed a policy message that Focus on the Family was not addressing to dominate the talk shows for over a week. Pro-Life forces and militant feminists alike are wiping pie off their faces after being played by Focus on the Family.

Don't Tell Me I Give Feminism A Bad Name
Or at least don't say I give feminism a bad name and expect me to remain silent ;)
Obviously Ms. Townsend & I don't agree philosophically about the Tebow ad or its message. But I also take issue with several of her points, including her apparent lack of understanding what upset the rest of us about the commercial.
