Painting Do-Over "Eat Pray Love"

Yep, artists make mistakes. This painting started out as something else and I painted over it. I had in my mind to paint a Buddha for my series Eat Pray Love, based upon the book/movie by Liz Gilbert. But Buddha didn't turn out inspirational; he turned out looking like a cartoon!

Wanting to have something that would inspire meditation and prayer, I painted over the canvas and started over. This time I incorporated feng shui principles and I'm happy with the results.
