Which is more beautiful, brains or beauty? I grew up being told that I didn't measure up in the looks department. Of course I was also told that I didn't measure up in the brains department either. This post is about recognizing the beauty inside of us.

What Makes YOU Beautiful? The REAL Beauty Buzz.
So what is true beauty? Is it really just a pretty face, and a nice body? No, it’s so much more then that, and people need to open their eyes and realize it. I find confidence to be the most beautiful thing ever.
Not the over the top cocky kind of confidence, like ‘Look at me, I’m the bomb, I’m the hottest thing ever.’ Not that, as I believe you all know what I am saying here. But true, ‘Nothing or nobody is going to hold me back. I’m amazing, and I can do anything I set my mind out to do’, kind of confidence. THAT is hot!
A sincere love of oneself that nobody can touch or damage, because the person believes in it. They believe in themselves, walk with pride, and light in their eyes. They go for every opportunity they find, and never let life pass them by, because of self doubt.

This blog post is not part of the series I have going on here, but it is in response to Kimberli Trenholm's blog post "Own Your Beauty."
i will address you directly Kimberli: I may not know you, but i know this: If you were smart enough to get on the internet and blog about that experience and then turn it into a post about recognizing the beauty within us all....you ARE both beautiful and intelligent! I can't imagine how many other people are told at least once in their lifetime that they don't "measure up" to someone's standard of beauty or intelligence. I say that beauty is UNLIMITED! There is no definition, and no one should ever feel that they need to confine to either or just to feel or be beautiful. Being beautiful is being yourself. It's being exactly who and how you were created to be.
