Is living a green life as important for your pets as for you?

If you think it is important to live ethically and organically, both because it is important for the environment and for your own health, then do you also extend this to your pets?

I personally believe that cutting down on the number of chemicals that we expose ourselves to, in food, beauty lotions and potions and products that surround us daily, can only be good for our overall health. I also believe that it is important for our pets to benefit from the same green living and a recent post on Organic Dog Beds over at Pet Hooligans highlighted this. What are your thoughts? Do you extend your green way of living to your pets too?

Your four legged family member can also do their part in helping our environment. Pet Hooligans posted some information about Organic Dog Beds which promote a healthy rest area while utilizing natural ingredients.
Here are two other postings to help your pet go green and determine which is the best pet bed. How about other animals? Do you have a rabbit? Taking Care With The Rabbits In Mind

There are more pets in the world than cats and dogs. Responsible, environmentally choices can be made for all forms of pet life.
My own pet of choice is the rabbit, even though we are waiting for them to be old enough to come home with us right now.
Rabbits are more sensitive than most people seem to think. It is not merely the choice of organic cotton or hemp. The rabbit's digestive track must also be taken into consideration.
