Letting Go What Others Think Of You
Whether your're dealing with depression or not, many of us care too much what other people think of us and therefore it holds us back from being who we truly are.
Dealing with depression has caused me to hide who I truly am due to the embarassment I would feel if people knew the thoughts that constantly ran through my mind. Let's face it - a lot of people still don't get the severity of depression and how bad it can get and how it can paralyzye a person from living their life. Too many people have the notion that if you have depression you can just "get over it" or "it's just you feeling sory for yourself".
My problem was that I let what others think get in the way of me getting better. When it comes down to it - who cares what others think?? This is MY life - and if I want to be happy and healthy I need to start caring what I think. Therapy has helped me to move forward and to work on these feelings and I can't tell you how wonderful it feels to stop caring!

Letting Go
It is not just enough to let go of the past, but we must let go of the ideals and the misconceptions others have of us. Very poignant post on dealing with depression and other people's opinions... and then people wonder why people like me are fat.

What Others Think
Do you really worry about what others think? Since I’ve been on this Law of Attraction path, I could have have shrunk away, been fearful of telling people about my new outlook. Afraid that people would look at me differently, afraid that long time friends would no shun me, avoid me.
If I worried about what other people think I wouldn’t have begun writing this blog.

Give Yourself A Gift
Give someone in your life who may be suffering from depression the gift of live and non-judgmental support. If you are suffering from depression and someone offers you support, give yourself a gift of allowance to accept it.

No truer words
Fear of what others may think of you is the most debilitating cross anyone can carry. It's so important to realize that people are going to say something about you whether you are good, bad or indifferent. Don't give them power of you. The most important opinion that you should consider is your own. Period. Shake those haters off!

Letting Go Of What Others Think Of You
Letting go of what others think of you is a hard job to tackel. It is a job that has to be done because it can drain the life out of you. People fail to realize how much pressure it puts on others when they are so cold hearted and calus. Some of them do know and they do it to put another notch on their belt. It is hard to hear the harsh remarks or to see the smears that we receive from our peers and brush it off as nothing. It is our lives and we have to do what ever it takes to see and not see.
