How to Find Your Happy Place
Scientists claim that one of the best ways to relieve stress and be a happier person is to find a personal “happy place.” In fact, scientists report that the brain can produce its own antidepressants and going to your ‘happy place’ truly works.
I found my Happy Place last year. I took a path that I had passed weekly on my way to Target and Walmart, the theaters and Kohls. I had seen the trail head many times, but I had never taken the time to find out what was beyond the road. Until last year. Set back from a main road, and only a 20 minute walk from the parking spot, is a little piece of heaven. The moment that I saw this spot of ground, I knew I had found my Happy Place.
Do you have a Happy Place? Where is it for you, and how does it rejuvinate you?

Stress Buster: Create Mental Happy Place
When you can't get out of the stressful situation (ie. to take a walk while your child is screaming), you can ease your stress a bit by mentally taking a break. I have to admit that I found blogging to be a great escape. How do you escape?

Don't Judge a Person By Their 'Happy Place'
I read an interesting post yesterday called "How to Find Your 'Happy Place'".
I'm sure we would all like to have that one spot where we know we can go to just relax, to chill out, to just take a moment and breathe. I' don't know if I have my "happy place" established...at least not like the one described in that post. But I think a happy place doesn't have to be hidden in the woods or off limits to the general public. I think it can be any place where we go to feel safe, secure, relaxed, and peaceful in our surroundings.
People take different roads seeking fulfillment and happiness. Just because they're not
on your road doesn't mean they've gotten lost. -H. Jackson Browne

where is your happy place? random tuesday thoughts
It's Tuesday which means it's time for some randomness. I came across this blog post "How to Find Your Happy Place" by Lolli. I thought - hey great idea to share with my readers and discover what their happy place is. Everyone has one and if you don't -- you should.
When life bogs me down, dealing with bipolar depression, husband with a brain injury, child with special needs, being low income and more. It's important to have a place to go to so a freak out doesn't happen which can turn UGLY if I don't go to my happy place(s).
