How Do YOU Make U-Turns IN life?

There have been times when we look at our lives and go "How the heck did I get here?".  Thankfully, if we're headed in the wrong direction, we can turn around.

I'd love to know your stories of making changes and making things right and your best tips on how to make those u-turns in life.

Turn the Tide

With the alarming rise in childhood depression and suicide it is the responsibility of every parent, teacher, caregiver and person of influence in the life of children in any capacity to become aware of what they can do to help turn the tide. I found the simple message: U Turns Allowed very inspirational.

Why Would I Even Want to?

I recently read a couple of blog posts that made me think about my struggles with major depresion. The first suggests that it is possible to make a u-turn if we find our life heading in a direction that we never intended. The second puts forth the idea that it is impossible to make a u-turn in life because if we managed to get out of the not good situation, some of what we experienced sticks to us, changing who we are.
As a follow up to these two posts I share my opinion about life experiences and the changes they bring, and whether or not I want to forgo those changes and give myself a do-over.

Can you turn it around?

In my blog entry, I suggest that a U-turn is not possible. We're changed by our experiences and can never go back the way we came.
I write about embracing the muck of life, getting dirty by taking chances.
