How can you help out?
One of the ideas I've brought up to help raise money for schools is collecting box tops for education and campbells soup labels for education. Most people buy these products on a regular basis anyway, how hard is it really to take the extra minute and remove the label or box top and put it to the side? How hard is it make one day a year were the person then takes it to their local school? Why does it seem so hard for people to do this? Do they not know about it? Don't they want to help? In todays economy people complain that they just don't have the money to buy items from fund raisers, and thats understandable. But if they are already buying the products that have these labels on them, then why not take an extra minute or two out of the day and set them aside for the school?

Everybody Wants My Money!
Helping the school doesn't always require spending more money. Even if you don't have kids in school, it's possible to help the district get much needed funds from large corporations. Check your pantry to see if you've already spent the money that will help your school district get much needed financial assistance.
