High Fructose Corn Syrup will kill you
High fructose corn syrup is in everything these days. When I was at the grocery looking for applesauce, I picked up the one labeled Original and it contained HFCS. To me there is nothing "original" about HFCS.
A recent study from researchers at Princeton illustrated just how bad HFCS is.
HFCS causes obesity, promotes fat gain around the mid-section and increases triglycerides in the blood.
Am I right to be outraged that foods label "original" contain such a dangerous additive or is HFCS not really all that bad?

Focus on Fat
Great post! I think the average person is uninformed about High Fructose Corn Syrup, what it does to your body, and what foods contain the dangerous chemical. With Obesity now surpassing Lung Cancer as the leading cause of preventable death in the United States, we need to focus on the culprit: Food!
One of my first posts on chattah.org is about Obesity. I use humor with a video clip from Wall-E, but it's no laughing matter. We are the fattest country in the world with 60% of the United States being either overweight or obese. Over half!? What happen?
Portion sizes and added chemicals is what happen. Fast foods and preservatives is what happen. What should happen? Fresh foods. I'm a fast eater, often eating on the fly, and have an extremely busy schedule. However, I manage to eat fresh and on a budget. I rarely, if ever, eat foods with High Fructose Corn Syrup and you can too. It will safe your life.

High Fructose Corn Syrup may become Corn Sugar
Beware! I recently read a report indicating that the manufacturers of HFCS are lobbying the FDA to have the product renamed as "Corn Sugar". This an attempt to re-image the product. Like everything else they put in our food and water that is bad for us now they want to try and hide HFCS under a name that people wont recognize. Why do I have a feeling that they will succeed in their endeavor?

High Fructose Corn Syrup Will Kill You
Over the last few years, my wife has slowly been changing our family’s diet to a more natural, healthy one. Although we know it’s for our health, it hasn’t come without kicking and screaming at times. High Fructose Corn Syrup (LOL)
The other day, Alarryyk and I went out for dinner and I picked out a bottled cherry soda to drink. As the place (Belgian Fries) is on Commercial Drive, where all grocery stores are organic, I am used to drinks being free of things like high fructose corn syrup. High Fructose Corn Syrup not only promotes obesity which leads to type two diabetes, high triglycerides, high LDL (bad cholesterol) and heart disease. Other problems that have been connected to High Fructose Corn Syrup include ADHD and Fibromyalgia. HFCS has become a common ingredient.
