Guest Posts - Contribution Or Narcissism?
I recently submitted (and had published) my first guest post...I loved writing it and making my small contribution to the world but upon seeing it, up there and published, on another website, I was unbelievably chuffed!
And it has occurred to me that guest post-ing (and perhaps blogging for that matter!) is narcissistic. After all, who am I to believe that what I have to say could possibly be interesting/entertaining/thought provoking to anyone?
It takes a bit of ego, don't you think?

Definitely Narcssistic
I had to chuckle when I read your seed. How very true! It's exactly the way I feel. I write and I blog and I plant the seeds; but still no one responds. But here's one for you, because I am responding to your seed. What you say makes sense; it is interesting; it is thought-provoking. Just remember that, regardless of who reads (or, as is often the case, who doesn't read) your posts, you write, therefore you are immortal. Your word lives on. And so does mine!

Why blog?
I guess now is better than ever to form a mission statement. The fates seem to be telling me I need to evaluate my purpose for blogging.
