Feel Like You Are Getting Old?
How many days do you think to yourself, "Geez, I am getting old!"? Is getting "old" all in the mind or is it based how we live our lives? So many people determine how "old" they are by their activities in life. For instance, if you become an executive of a Fortune 500 at age 30, then you are "young", but do you think this same instance applies to a professional athlete? Nope! The life span of a pro athlete is "young" even though they would be considered "old" if they are 30 years of age. Crazy to think how this works.
I am relatively young, at 32-years-old. In my chosen sport of competitive bodybuilding, I am reaching my "golden years", even though there are guys who compete well into their 40s and beyond. In the end, it is all in the mind. I don't feel old and I don't carry myself like a man who's ready to collect on his social security. It's the little pains from time to time that make me think that I am getting old. I am the picture of health but sometimes my joints and ligaments don't always let me think this. Darn! I simply can't win for losing!
How do you feel about aging? Is it something that you are accepting or do you algother just ignore it?
