Elections and the Bible

I have listened to and heard a great deal of talking heads and political pundits over the past few days and as I was doing my quiet time reading a few minutes ago I was reading through Psalm 33.  As I read verses 10-12 I was reminded that even if there is a change in the balance of powers in the U.S. Government, we as a nation may have a reprieve of some bad policies and some even rescinded, our country is still moving towards great peril.  Listen to what the Scriptures say...

We must never forget to first focus on the Lord in everything we do. PC Pastor Weblog reminds us of Psalm 33:12 - Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom He has chosen as His heritage.
