Eat Your Way Around the World! Where Would You Go?
Lonely Planet recently posed a question to their fans, "If you could travel to any city or country in the world for the food, where would you go?"
I discussed my favorite cities, including my hometown, Chicago, and how I have eaten my way through them, both while living there and traveling through. I would love to hear and read about other spots that folks would love to travel to and read.
I think this is a great way to touch on many subjects within food and travel, including a dream trip, foodie reviews of specific cuisines, budget traveling tips through a city, restaurant reviews etc.
There are so many things you can talk about in relation to this, including just discussing those cities that made the top spots among international readers that were polled.

Gourmet travellers
I am very interested in food & travelling and I am planning to post more content on my gourmet traveller site.
To answer the questions about where I would go for food: it's simple - it's got to be Thailand! I have been to Thailand 4 times and I absolutely adore their food. I can't get enough of proper Thai food. Don't ask me why - it's just something I have fallen for every since I tasted the real thing in Thailand itself.
Having travelled in many other countries, I also like Croatian food, Swiss cuisine and of course the French know how to cook.
Italian cuisine is world famous but my favourite Italian food was in Sardinia. The best pizza and pasta I ever tasted!!! A must for lovers of Italian food.
