Don't You Get Lonely?

I THINK that question comes from a place within the person who asks it. I’ve learned to listen to people and not just hear what’s said, but what’s left unsaid as well. I’ve had a wonderful teacher who taught me that lesson.
Being that we are at the Christmas Season, the question arose again the other day. I give the same answer every time:
I don’t get lonely.

All My Single Ladies

There is always constant pressure to find a mate and settle down. Beyonce is a pop sensation who is adored by fans around the world, but some of the lyrics that were in her hit song “Single Ladies” is something single women should not chant just about… anywhere. Being happily single is downplayed, It categorizes people not being mature enough to handle a serious commitment. Sometimes, this is far from the truth. Some people are content with being by themselves and are open to settling down with someone but are choosing to not settle being with someone just because they are lonely...
