Designers Say That They Are Looking Out For "Real" Women Even As Their Models Are Size Zero
Is this all some secret girl-talk code? The designers pretend that they "lament" the problem and assure that all the while they are secretly designing their clothes for "real" women. Since men couldn't possibly care any less, then the whole fashion industry of Vogue, reality shows, the Paris fashion scene, etc., are all for women's benefit. Therefore, if you women wanted "real" women in these events they would be there. One can only conclude that you don't, so why all of the angst about an issue that clearly is not an issue?

Do we want real women on the runway?
Basically I just explore the argument of whether "normal" sized models are needed on the runway from a practical and psychological perspective, determine what the exact points are. Some points include the psychological influence of thin models, the "large"ness of the US's average size and finally how complicated it would be if every size had to be represented.
