Criminals Have More Rights Than Gay Couples

My views on the injustices of criminals being able to get married, and gay people being denied those same rights. Oprah actually led to this post when she talked with a lady who married a man convicted of murder.

There Is Nothing Peachy About Prison. (Response to the "Have You Ever Noticed?" post

I was blog surfing to find a post to write about on my LGBT blog (Soyez Vous-même), when I came across a post titled “Royal Rant: The Gay Marriage Question” It was a post responding to an Oprah interview that involved a woman marrying a murderer. The author of the blog went on and compared the right for a criminal to get married to the nonexistent right for same-sex couples to get married. I agreed with the post especially because the author did not attack the right for the criminal to get married, the author only used it for comparison. Later on, I found another post about the “Royal Rant: The Gay Marriage Question” article titled “Have You Ever Noticed?,” which focused more on this odd sense that prisoners have it easy in jail.

Have You Ever Noticed?

Apparently Oprah opened up a can of worms by having a woman appear on her show who had married a convict. His crime? Her murdered two innocent people in cold blood, execution style. My first thought is, why would someone even WANT to meet a person like that, let alone marry them. Does this woman have such terrible self-esteem that she had to find love through lonely convicts? Now, I don’t know this lady, but I seriously just can’t help but wonder what was going through her mind.
