Breastfeeding is Hard
Breastfeeding is a huge debate in today's society. Unfortunately, not everyone is aware of the truth on what breastfeeding really takes. We need to be more supportive and less judgmental when it comes to infant nutrition.

Adventures in Breastfeeding...
There is no doubt about it; breastfeeding is hard.
The first few days after Duncan was born, there was no way we could get him to nurse. He just did not want to latch at all. And the poor boy was so hungry, that he'd get all worked up screaming, swallow a pile of air, them vomit up any food we did get into him. Needless to say his weight quickly dropped from 8llbs, to 7lbs, 4oz.

I'm too obstinate to give up

Like she said.
Yes, breastfeeding is hard. It hurts, and no one warns you-until now. Kudos to a mom who tells it like it is. I had issues when my baby started to nurse-and I remember feeling so very alone. Posts like this one help to remind me that I'm not. And that it IS hard for the majority of moms-they just don't say it.
