If you are in the market for a pet bed, but are also concerned about the environment, you can construct a simple bed for your pet from recycled and/or biodegradable materials you either already have on hand or that can obtained at little cost at a thrift or discount store.

Frugal Fridays: Pet Beds
I have three dogs, and my roommate has one dog. I want them to be as comfortable as possible, but I hate the prices for dog beds. And it doesn't help that I have large breeds, so the beds are even more expensive for them. I decided to make my own pet beds for the dogs. It's too easy, and you can do it as well.
