Are you inspired?
Watching the Sound of Music inspired me...it usually does. I always get the urge to glide out of my little house twirlling my front yard singing with all my might. Makes me forget the pavement is uneven, and the door doesn't stayed closed unless you bolt it and well the neighbors are not really the Sound of Music "type," so movie inspirations have to go elsewhere.
I am constantly looking for inspiration. When I am feeling particularly spent from a long binge of writing there are a few tricks that seem to get me going...

Inspired by karaoke
I used to find singing very inspiring.
But lately I have lost the believe in my voice and yesterday I just couldn't make me get up and sing.
Therefore I have writting this blog that hopefully inspires people to have fun at karaoke. :-)

Also Inspired
I also am inspired by "The Sound of Music". Musical just have a way of reaching the soul. Although, my daughter makes fun of me for enjoying these types of movies, I still love (lame or not!)
Being able to truly help people is also totally inspiring and can give you a new outlook on life. Sometimes, when you're feeling down and feeling sorry for yourself, just reaching out to someone else and being able to fulfill their needs to just enough to uplift you and bring you out of your funk.
