5 Tips for a Successful Handmade Craft Shopping Party
Last fall I started doing handmade craft shopping parties, modeled after Tupperware or Mary Kay parties. I make recycled clothing and accessories, but I have also begun selling crafts and handmade goods by other artists as well. Many art and craft markets in my area do not allow you to sell work by artists other than yourself, so I needed to find an alternative way to market these handmade goods. Taking a cue from successful companies like Tupperware, I thought I would go the direct route and host shopping parties at my home and invite my friends to host parties at their homes or convenient public locations such as coffee shops. I discovered some tips and tricks along the way for organizing a successful handmade craft shopping party.

Nifty Inspiration: Home Craft Parties
