1 Blog, 1 Tree
I received information that the average blogger is anything but carbon neutral. In fact, annually, a blog can generate an average of 8 lbs. of carbon! So, I am working to make this pretty, pink blog a greener place to read. I am joining the "1 blog, 1 tree" movement and having a tree planted to neutralize the carbon emissions caused by my blog.
What do you do to minimize your carbon footprint? How can you improve?

An Excellent Way to a Carbon Neutral Blog
Who would have thought that to have your own carbon neutral blog could be so simple? And done in a way that not only gives you peace of mind, but promotes others to do the same. And gives a whole new life to the Plumas National Forest. How cool is it that your blog can have its own tree planted in the forest, and all you have to do to achieve this honour is to write about the initiative on your own blog. Simple!

My Valentine's Day gift to the planet I love is to have a tree planted to offset my blog's carbon emissions :) All you have to do is link back to the tree-planting project and they'll plant a tree for you!

Bloggers, Go Forth and Be Green
As I sit here blogging my heart out about my ongoing green adventures in 52 Ways to go Green, Get Lean or Die Trying, apparently I’ve been creating a bit of a carbon footprint (whoops).
It’s a catch 22 you see, I want to spread the word about easy green living, but in doing so, I’m generating 8 pounds of carbon a year. So what is a passionate blogger to do, especially a passionate green blogger?.....

The Path Toward Reducing Your Carbon Footprint
Inspired by Krafty Kitten's challenge to her readers, I have reminded my readers of my own involvement with the 1 Blog, 1 Tree program created by Machs Grun. Although I found it later than they did, I am glad to participate.
In addition, I have summarized several ways to reduce your carbon footprint. Whether reducing energy consumption or biking to the grocery store, there are various things you can do to live a greener life.
There is always room for improvement, however, and so I have included some of our own, along with our ultimate goal to live off-grid.

Eco-Friendly Blog and Beyond
Inspired by this blog, I intend to plant a tree not just for my blog, but for my existence. And I urge my readers to plant at least one tree every year.

Blog Green
Thanks for posting about the 1 Blog, 1 Tree campaign. I participated via my blog, and also added suggestions for finding a green hosting company.
