I use Google Analytics to track my traffic on a Wordpress.org blog. I also use Feedburner to burn the RSS email feed. They don't seem to get along.
Is this true for anyone else? Does anyone have better experience with FeedBlitz which is not free? There is one line of code from Google Analytics that I have to drop into every post that seems always to invalidate my feed. Ugh!
Submitted by PragmaticMom on 5th MayI believe with Google analytics on a Wordpress.org blog, you must insert the code along with the CSS portion, not on each blog post.
However, I know of a better analytics aside from Google, and there are free and paid options. I like Woopra.com.
Google Analytics codes are not to used in post, this codes are used in wordpress footer.php and before the tags, if this is confusing you, then, Why don't you Google Analytics Plugins for Wordpress, Its working great in my blog, and, my feedburner RSS email feed is also working well with it.
Search Google Analytics in Wordpress or here is the link : http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/
1. Download it and upload it in your plugins folder
2. Activate from wordpress dashboard
3. Then you just have to paste your Analytics ID in it.
Hope its helps...
