Blog analytics - which software do you use and why?
Understanding how much traffic you're getting and where it is coming from is part of the process of understanding how to get more and marketing your blog. Which blog analytics packages do you use and why?

Google Analytics has always been the staple solution, it does the job effectively and reliably, and is free.
However if you are looking to track across social media activity, such as Twitter, RSS, Real time etc, I would recommend www.getclicky.com. They do charge if your site has more then 10,000 views per day, but there is a free solution for most websites just starting out.
