WooRank is a new site just launch by a team in Belgium which does an SEO audit on your site and gives it a WooRank – not sure what it means but the higher the better.
So no messing about I went straight in for an SEO analysis of SeededBuzz – we came out with a rank of 46.9 which is a tad under the current average of 48.7 but not too bad given the age of our site and we are just building links and content. However, there were a few embarassing spots – who forgot to put the meta description on the home page
So in case of full disclosure our WooRank SEO analysis is here.
The challenge now is who out of the SeededBuzz community has the best rank – go on take the Woo test and leave your rank/link below

Hi,
I went to Woo and had them check my site. I ranked 38.9, was that good or bad? I can’t remember which way the scale goes… but I can’t say they’re all together accurate. I know you said that you didn’t have your meta description done but I do and it tells me that I don’t.
Interesting though.
So I tried it again, a half hour later… my meta descriptions and keywords are there but now I rank 43.4….
The higher the score the better and it is out of 100. But being honest the scoring is a bit of fun – the useful bit is in the analysis they give you.
On the missing descriptions, I have checked with my SEO guru and they do not put descriptions in every time – sometimes they allow google to pick their own description from the content.
Cool!
My Woorank is 59.3 (WooWOO!).
There is a lot of info there and the good news is tat I have no glaring errors on my blog!
Thanks for the heads up on this tool!

My Woorank is 56.9, lol!
And that’s with errors on the W3C validity, because I use CSS3 codes and apparently they don’t really validate, lol.
And only today that I get to know about Dublin Core and Geo Meta Tags! Interesting!
Perhaps I should fix these things and try to check again and see how it goes.
Thanks for sharing!
Great suggestion with the Woorank. This is the best, easiest site I’ve seen so far for monitoring my SEO (and made it the most clear so I had a fair idea of how and what and why to fix things). Managed a 49 and then, just by adding (same as you) my site’s meta description, upped it to a 53.
Thanks for the hot tip.
Hi,
just like to say I have just started using WOORANK and I like it a lot. Not being good on seo I have found WOORANK good to help me along, anyone using google chrome it is in extensions to add to chrome….then any website you have open if you click the woorank symbol on the chrome browser you can read their rank, keywords so on.
When I run my blog through Website Grader I get a ridiculously high score and when I run it through woorank it is low.
I’ve just got in touch with WooRank few days ago and found it pretty useful. The first time I checked my website, it scored ~55. After trying to fix all the errors, it’s now 64.9. Well, I’ve corrected all the errors, the only concern here is to build as many back-links as possible, a damn hard task! T_T
Jonathan,
Backlinks are golden. If you have a moment, read the following two articles from the SeededBuzz blog regarding backlinks. Maybe it will give you some ideas for you to capitalize on.

well we have managed to scrape our score up to 61.4 using Woorank, which doesn’t seem bad.
has anyone EVER bothered with Dublin Core meta data though?
WooRank of 59.1 after correcting as many items as I could. Need to work on some of the more difficult ones. Not sure what the score means, but it is definitely one of the best SEO Analyzing tools I have come across and the improvements can only help!
